"Hands Helping Hands"

The Word of Life Outreach has three clothing and furniture outlets in Wilberforce, Highland Grove and Lake St. Peter. It operates under the mother church in Lake St. Peter, under the direction of Pastor Mike West.

The outlets in Wilberforce and Highland Grove sell good used furniture, household items and all forms of clothing. The Wilberforce location is also a Food Bank, which is supported by the Haliburton-Kawartha-Pine Ridge (HKPR) District Health Unit. We also gather good second hand toys at Christmas, wrap them and distribute them where needed.

Donations are gratefully accepted. We will pick up furniture and clothing locally. Emergency food hampers can be delivered.

Local residents also benefit from a Medical Emergency Fund operated by the Wilberforce/Highland Grove outlet. Donated funds are used to assist local residents with emergency medical expenses. Many have already benefited from the generosity of our community.

We are a Christian Outreach. All of our staff are volunteers. All proceeds first pay our expenses and then go right back into our community. Your support is greatly appreciated.
